Privacy and security guidance

Simple habits that keep your account and your events safe.

Your account

  • Use a password you do not use anywhere else.
  • Never share a reset link, verification link, or SMS code. Support will never ask for them.
  • Think someone else has your password? Reset it now. Google users: secure your Google account instead.

Your events

  • Give each helper their own invite and role. Do not share your login.
  • Send voting and registration links only to the people who should have them.
  • Check the event code before you send a link.
  • Export anything you need before you delete an event or your account.

Your data

Your profile, data export, analytics choice, and account deletion are all under Dashboard → Profile. Pepvote's data practices are in the Privacy Policy and Subprocessors list.

Something looks wrong?

Change your password, check your events for changes you did not make, and email support@pepvote.com with the event code and when you noticed it. Leave passwords and codes out of the message.
